Just a quick note about the 3D frames I reviewed last week. I mentioned in the review that I used the two sides of the frame. On one side I put the kids' hospital bracelets, and on the other side a picture of the kids I got while using an app called Postcard on the Run. It's a cool app that could have been very useful if I knew about it while we were on our The-Hell-With-Guilt trip to Cancun without the kids. This app basically sends your pictures as postcards, and you're also able to add writing in the back of the postcard, a signature, and even a little map of where you took that picture. For a very long time, I didn't understand why anyone would pay extra to get a smartphone rather than a regular old dumb phone, but this is one of those apps that once you get it, an iPhone makes a whole lot of sense.
(I got a free postcard to try this out, for the record. Otherwise it costs from $.99 cents to $1.69 per postcard.)
And congratulations to eclairre for winning the frame!

Just got an android phone last week and I realized what I have been missing since it has been released. I think the pricing for the postcard is just right especially now that the holiday season is near.
ReplyDeleteApps like this makes life more enjoyable and "share-able". :)
ReplyDeleteYou certainly love postcards. Don't you bloggerfather?
ReplyDeleteOh that's really neat!!!!! I've wanted an iphone for a long time. It's just that I already pay like $90 a month just for two plain old cell phones (one for me & one for my daughter). That already seems like too much.
ReplyDeleteThis is why I love my iPhone. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect for the holidays. You can take a photo of your kids in Christmas costumes and send them to relatives.
ReplyDeleteJill, I know what you mean, because I was exactly like that before I gave in to my wife. But I will never go back. We're paying probably about $30 more per month than we used to, but it's worth it.
ReplyDeleteI am just like you when I got my iPhone. I wondered why did it take me that long to have that?! :)
