Danny

I used to be a Twitter-hater. The idea of communicating to the world in 140 characters or less was a sign of the end of civilization, or at least the end of art and literature and everything sacred and good. And then I gave it a try. All of a sudden I was surrounded by updates from all the blogging fathers I knew, and many from parents I didn't know. And Twitter wasn't about short mundane updates anymore--this was more like a conference call. Mothers and fathers, some very different from each other, all talking at the same time, and still all equally able to be heard. Obviously, now I'm an addict.

Now, after this introduction, which I will probably be ashamed of in a year, when the next silly-sounding application comes along, I need to thank Twitter for introducing me to Danny and to his blog, Dad Gone Mad.

There are a few good places to start.

You can start at the About page, where Danny humbly writes about his successes and future plans.

Or you can start at this post, which includes an excerpt from his book.

Or you can start at the latest post, and find your way around by yourself.

Or if I convinced you, follow my path and start with Twitter. This is the latest update:

I'm suing Gatorade because they stole "Is It In You?" from me. I said that the night I lost my virginity.

And really, if that's not enough to make you want to read more, I don't know what else I can do!

I still don't have a Twitter account, hell I don't even have a Facebook account. Sometimes I think I'm missing out, but then I go do something productive with my time.

Hey, no one has ever died saying, "I wish I tweeted more." Yet.
